Rosso Muraccio D.O.C.

The main ingredient is the Sangiovese grape grown in the foothills of the Muraccio area, protected in the south by Mediterranean scrub. The appellation Muraccio comes from the word “mura” which refers to the dry-stone wall ( mura in Italian means wall) situated at the edge of the vineyard since Roman times. The traditional Tuscan winemaking methods call for vinification in stainless steel followed by aging for at least 10 months in wooden barrels and tonneaux
