Riserva D.O.C.

An aristocratic wine due to the prevailing presence of the greatest of grape varieties: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. The innate austerity softens with time as the tannins mellow and the acids which melt with the fluid harmony of the alcohol and glycerin's. It is a wine of great character, exuberant, full in structure and unmistakable for its decisive personality. Made of a selection of the best grapes harvested, and aged for about 12 months in barrels and tonneaux, the Parrina Riserva has all of the characteristics of a wine which will age extremely well.

Aroma:  aristocratic and full. Persistent while swirled developing a complex bouquet which brings carob, liquorish and ripe cherries to mind
Flavor:  a caressing silky harmony, it is to be appreciated for its softness, but also for its rich drawn out body
Alcohol:  minimum 13.5%/Vol
Serve: 18-20C°
Accompaniments:  with all great meat dishes, but especially with braised or grilled meats, and big game meats.
